Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Sr. Engineer focused on HCM App Integration to lead and architect complex HCM integrations across major platforms.

You will work with the HCM Integration Manager to ensure technical continuity, drive architecture decisions, and guide day-to-day engineering across several HR systems. You will mentor engineers, oversee CI/CD, testing, and production support, and partner with HR, Benefits, Payroll and Security teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application engineering, HCM technology, integrations, or related discipline.
Experience leading complex technical architecture and guiding engineering best practices.
Hands-on experience with HCM platforms and HCM integrations in large-scale environments.
Experience designing, developing, supporting, and troubleshooting integrations across benefits, payroll, retirement, equity, identity, and employee data.
Strong knowledge of enterprise integration technologies and patterns (REST/SOAP, web services, iPaaS, SFTP, batch, event-driven).
Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, Oracle integration technologies including HDL/HSDL and Extracts.
Experience building HCM integration templates and fast formulas/value sets.
Understanding of HCM security models, roles, and AORs.
Experience with Visual Builder Studio for page customizations, HCM workflows, routing, notifications, approvals.
Full software development lifecycle experience including CI/CD, testing, deployment, observability, and production support.
Ability to architect for resilience, redundancy, and cross-training across teams.
Experience with incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures.

Responsibilities

Act as the principal technical counterpart to the HCM Integration Manager and provide continuity across technical responsibilities.
Lead integrations supporting HCM and third-party platforms (Fidelity, Shareworks, Aetna, etc.).
Escalation point for critical HCM integration issues to reduce dependency on single resources.
Build redundancy across systems via documentation, cross-training, runbooks and ownership models.
Collaborate on roadmap planning, resource allocation, architecture decisions, vendor management, and delivery.
Provide architectural oversight across HCM and OIC development including design reviews, testing, and deployment practices.
Mentor engineers and establish consistent engineering practices.
Provide leadership coverage during manager’s absence for continuity.
Identify areas of knowledge concentration and develop succession plans.
Support incident management with monitoring, escalation, and recovery procedures.
