Job summary

DemKota Ranch Beef in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a second leadership role within the Harvest Department. You will supervise, coordinate and mentor a team of harvest supervisors, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in daily production.

Qualifications

• Five+ years’ experience in a beef processing plant.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and/or schedule activities of all department supervisors.
• Analyze production problems and recommend solutions to improve methods or motivate staff.
• Record personnel, production or operational data on forms or reports.
• Observe, receive and obtain information from relevant sources.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify defects or causes of errors.
• Guide, direct, motivate and set performance standards for staff.
