Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a second-in-command in the Harvest Department to organize and assist in managing operations, lead and develop supervisory staff, and report to management.

The role requires 5+ years in a beef processing plant, strong leadership, and the ability to work long shifts in a hot environment. Bilingual is preferred but not required; must pass pre-employment screening and have a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a beef processing plant.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal & communication skills.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the US; pass pre-employment physical and random drug test.
• Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
• Able to read, write, and speak English; bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and/or schedule activities of all department supervisors.
• Analyze production problems and implement improvements.
• Record personnel, production, or operational data on forms or reports.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify problems or defects.
• Coach, mentor, or develop staff; conduct annual evaluations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and attendance procedures in Harvest; liaise with Maintenance, FSQA and HR.
• Attend daily supervisor meetings; minimize downtime; ensure daily standards are met.
• Work on special projects in the Harvest area; communicate with plant management.
