Job summary

Axon is hiring a Sr. Engineer II for the Product Integrity team in Phoenix. You will own validation for complex hardware, applying AI/ML-driven analysis and modeling to improve test coverage and reduce cycle time.

You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing, mentor engineers, and shape test strategy while leading advanced validation programs for body-worn cameras and sensors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 12+ years in hardware test, validation, or reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own validation strategy and execution for complex hardware programs from requirements through production release.
• Design, plan, and execute advanced validation test plans (thermal, vibration, ingress, drop/shock, EMC/EMI, reliability, safety).
• Introduce AI/ML-driven analysis and modeling to reduce physical testing cycles.
• Build tools and models to optimize test coverage and shorten timelines.
• Support FA and RCA with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.
• Set and maintain Validation Test Procedures and data infrastructure standards.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams on test strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and evaluate new test technologies.
