Job summary

Axon is seeking a Sr. Engineer II on the Product Integrity team in Phoenix to own validation across body-worn cameras, TASER devices, and connected hardware.

You will apply AI/ML-based analysis, digital twins, and accelerated life models to identify failure modes and shorten validation cycles, while guiding junior engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required; advanced degree a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, modeling, and predictive analytics for hardware validation.
• Proven ability to lead validation for complex electromechanical hardware through mass production.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own validation strategy and execution for technically complex hardware programs from requirements to release.
• Design and execute validation tests including environmental, EMC/EMI, reliability and safety.
• Introduce AI/ML-driven analysis and modeling to reduce cycle time and improve coverage.
• Mentor engineers and technicians; work with QA, Regulatory, and manufacturing teams.
