Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Hardware Technical Program Manager to drive customer-driven programs from concept to volume production. You will lead cross‑functional HW, SW, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure milestones are met and customer needs are delivered on time.

The role requires 10+ years in hardware NPI and strong leadership, with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering. This is a full-time position in Roseville, CA with a compensation range of $250,000 to $350,000 total

Qualifications

• 10+ years of NPI hardware engineering and leadership experience.
• Design engineering, New Product Introduction, and manufacturing experience with rack-mounted data center or enterprise equipment.
• Experience working with multiple engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software, diagnostics, test, and manufacturing).
• Exceptional project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create statements of work (SoW) and PRDs for complex technical programs.
• Own and facilitate weekly cross-functional engineering team meetings.
• Interface with customers and strategic partners to develop program plans and milestones.
• Lead a cross-functional team from HW, SW, Central, and other engineering functions to deliver products to market.
• Track and report on cross-functional design validation and qualification status; resolve issues to prevent delays.
• Create and manage a master schedule linking key cross-functional deliverables to milestones.
• Lead program design reviews and bug scrubs.
• Coordinate and monitor scheduling, planning, cost analysis, and milestone reviews.
• Drive cross-functional issue resolution and escalate to functional leaders as needed.
• Facilitate engineering portions of phase gate review meetings.
