Job summary

Uber AV Labs is building a high-velocity team to turn real-world driving data into high-quality data for our autonomous partners. This Senior Hardware TPM drives the design and development of exploration platforms and foundational tech for next-gen AV architectures, coordinating across vendors and Tier-1 partners through PoC and validation.

Based in Sunnyvale, CA, you’ll lead cross-functional teams, align roadmaps, and shepherd prototypes from concept to integration, emphasizing sensing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of system engineering leadership through early-stage ambiguity.
• Engineering degree with foundation to evaluate trade-offs and risks.
• Experience managing external hardware vendors and suppliers.
• Experience with NPI material tracking, PLM, BOMs, and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle NPI and physical build programs with automotive partners.
• Drive hardware/software integration strategies and validation plans for autonomy stacks.
• Establish and manage NPI material tracking frameworks and BOM structures.
• Direct vendor and hardware supplier execution to meet timelines and quality.
