Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead hardware/software integration and bring-up programs for our driverless platform. You will partner with software, firmware, hardware engineering and operations to align plans with the product roadmap and ensure timely delivery.

The role requires travel up to 25% in the US and Europe; a 7+ year track record; and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with in-office presence.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of experience as a TPM, PM, or Engineering Manager in autonomous systems or robotics.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Math, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to tailor messaging.
• Solid technical aptitude and understanding of software lifecycles.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management.
• Willingness to work in-office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning and delivery of software for hardware/software integration programs.
• Provide up-to-date program status and facilitate executive reviews.
• Develop detailed engineering plans to bring up software for new hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with TPMs and Product Managers to align with roadmaps.
• Inform future hardware architecture from a software perspective.
• Coordinate with Vehicle Operations across sites for bring-up and deployment.
• Identify and remove obstacles to maintain momentum.
