Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a mid-level Senior Hardware Test Engineer for the Mechanical Analysis and Test (MA&T) department. You will support test programs across development and production, tackling challenging test problems with innovative solutions.

You will collaborate with design, structural analysis, manufacturing, and customers, while mentoring junior staff and guiding test processes and tools to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• An advanced degree and experience in hardware testing is favored.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation planning and test conduct of hardware tests including vibration, thermal and environmental tests.
• Perform dynamic and thermal data acquisition and analysis.
• Lead and mentor junior section members and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and customers.
• Support domestic and international factory and supplier testing.
