Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine is seeking a Hardware Test Engineering Manager to lead the EW Manufacturing Team in rapidly iterating and building defense hardware for electromagnetic warfare. You will ensure rigorous testing protocols and high-throughput production across the portfolio.

You will drive test strategy, collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering on design testability, scale testing across products, and implement automation, data analytics, and cost-effective solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years manufacturing test experience and product sustainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of people management in manufacturing test.
• Experience with Linux, C#, Python, NixOS, LabVIEW or similar test automation.
• Proficiency with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and testing standards.
• Experience with electronic and RF test equipment.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives and measure outcomes.
• Advance the test strategy for each product to enable scalable production.
• Collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering on design testability.
• Drive automation, uniformity, and throughput improvements in testing.
• Maintain testing capabilities across multiple products from system checkout to component validation.
• Analyze test data and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Communicate vision to stakeholders, scale platforms from pre-production to mass production.
• Lead procurement and ROI analysis for new test equipment.
• Promote safety, cost reduction, quality, and productivity through testing.
• Foster innovation and accountability in the engineering team.
