Job summary

Bevi is seeking a Senior Sustaining Engineer to lead continuous-improvement initiatives within the Hardware Sustaining team. From problem definition to change release, you will set direction for root-cause investigations and raise engineering rigor across the group.

You’ll guide sustaining strategy, partner with cross-functional leaders, and mentor junior engineers to improve product quality, reliability, and customer experience across Bevi’s installed base.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of product design or sustaining engineering experience, including ownership of complex projects from concept through release
• Expert proficiency with SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD programs
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence at all levels of the organization
• Deep experience designing for injection molding, sheet metal, machining, and other manufacturing processes
• Proven track record of robust root cause analysis and corrective action on production and design issues
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and testing of parts and systems for sustaining and continuous-improvement programs
• Drive complex product failure investigations and root-cause containment and corrective action
• Apply statistical methods to drive quality improvements, cost reduction, and reliability
• Define and prioritize sustaining team roadmap with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product
• Mentor associate and mid-level sustaining engineers and establish best practices
