Bevi is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the foundational data platform for the Data & Data Science org. This is a senior individual‑contributor role that is both strategic and hands‑on, spanning ingestion, modeling, CI/CD, and self‑service BI across the stack.

You will design and build scalable data architectures for IoT data, govern data access, and partner with Software, Hardware, Product, and Operations to deliver production‑ready solutions while mentoring engineers and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform engineering.
• Expert with modern cloud data stack tooling as listed above.
• Fluent in how AI tools consume data with governance for LLMs/AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data platform — ingestion, modeling, self‑service, CI/CD, and visualization.
• Design scalable, reliable data architecture and data flows for analytics, AI, and ML.
• Partner with Software to select and integrate the tech stack for streaming data at scale.
• Own data modeling, transformation, and orchestration for IoT data.
• Build governed self‑service with permissions, peer review, and lineage.
• Evolve AI integration governance and monitoring to ensure accuracy at scale.
• Develop scalable monitoring and alerting with minimal noise.
• Enforce privacy, governance, and security and enable audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Data Science to enable advanced analytics and experimentation.
• Provide technical leadership across the Data & Data Science org.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and propose improvements.
