Job summary

Vivint LLC, a leading smart home company, is seeking a Hardware Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Seattle, WA. The role leads supplier sourcing, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration with Hardware Engineering, PM, and Quality to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

You will negotiate terms, drive supplier strategies, manage ramp plans, and de-risk supply chains while aligning with product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, or engineering.
• 5-7 years in high-volume manufacturing or sourcing.
• Experience leading cross-functional sourcing teams in consumer electronics.
• Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools.
• Strong analytical skills in cost modeling and supplier selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier sourcing and selection activities with cross-functional teams.
• Establish supplier criteria, evaluate alternatives, and drive final supplier selection.
• Negotiate agreements to secure best pricing, quality, delivery, and terms.
• Own ramp plans, production forecast, and tooling life for suppliers.
• Develop supplier roadmaps and manage strategic supplier relationships at executive level.
• Monitor market trends and cost structures to inform sourcing decisions.
