Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned hardware program manager to own and lead the design and development of server products. You will work with a wide range of partners, translate customer needs into scalable solutions, and guide programs from concept through launch.

You will partner with engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective server systems at scale while maintaining rigorous program discipline and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems.
• Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing complex hardware systems across cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex New Product Introduction (NPI) programs delivering critical solutions and significant improvements.
• Manage all stages (concept to launch).
• Understand hardware architecture and influence team priorities and business strategy.
• Communicate ideas clearly to Directors and VPs; partner with customers and engineering teams.
• Define goals, drive decisions, identify risks with mitigation plans.
• Apply project management best practices to boost productivity across teams.
