Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a lead hardware engineer to direct a team in designing and developing specialized server products. You will work with customers to translate goals into scalable hardware solutions, coordinating across components, firmware, testing and external partners.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical strategy, and continuously raise the bar on product performance, quality, and cost while aligning with AWS goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
• 2+ years storage devices experience or related work.
• 7+ years managing and developing high-performance teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
