Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an Interconnect engineer to join the Component Quality & Technology (CQT) within Global Supplier Management. You will guide multi-functional teams across engineering and supply chains to develop next-generation interconnect components from concept to production.

You will lead design optimization for signal integrity, collaborate closely with suppliers, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• BSME/BSEE or equivalent with typically demonstrated ability bringing new products to market.
• Hands-on experience with interconnect and connector technologies at the application and component level, including fundamentals of PCB attach technologies.
• Proven track record leading multi-functional teams to address performance and quality issues in large, complex programs.
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical design principles, tolerance analysis, fabrication methods, materials selection, plating, validation testing, SI fundamentals.
• Strong program management and leadership skills with ability to align priorities and drive objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead evaluation, qualification and down-select of interconnect components with suppliers to optimize signal integrity, mechanical robustness and reliability.
• Manage multi-functional teams to drive product lifecycle from concept through NPI.
• Mentor junior engineers and communicate complex technical issues to leadership.
