Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly capable Interconnect engineer to lead cross-disciplinary efforts from concept to production, focusing on high-speed interconnect components and multi-functional program leadership.

You will evaluate materials, plating, and fabrication processes to ensure reliability and performance, while guiding supplier relationships and vendor collaborations. A strong drive for quality and innovation is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• BSME/BSEE or equivalent with typically demonstrated ability bringing new products to market.
• Hands-on experience with interconnect and connector technologies at the application and component level, including fundamentals of PCB attach technologies.
• Demonstrated effectiveness leading multi-functional teams of internal and external collaborators to address performance and quality issues within large, complex programs, including mentoring junior engineers and communicating with senior leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multi-functional teams to evaluate, down-select, and qualify connectors and interconnect components, partnering with suppliers to predict and validate behavior from concept to NPI.
• Manage design activities to ensure signal integrity, mechanical robustness, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in Cisco products.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
