Job summary

Base Power Company is seeking an Systems Integration Engineer to lead software-driven integration of hardware, firmware, and software into scalable, high-quality products. You will own the integration framework and drive reliability across inverters, batteries, and power systems in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work closely with R&D, Firmware, and Quality Engineering to define end-to-end integration, validate it with software-driven tests, and shape how Base delivers integrated energy

Qualifications

• A systems-level mindset integrating hardware, firmware, and software.
• 5+ years in software engineering with systems integration focus.
• Expertise in integration test automation and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience leading integration programs from concept to production.
• Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary influence.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Base’s systems integration strategy with a scalable software framework.
• Lead development of integration software for inverters, batteries, and power systems, incl. APIs and protocols.
• Architect and oversee integration test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
• Collaborate with firmware, cloud, and hardware teams to resolve issues and influence design.
• Generate and communicate system-health reports to support compliance and executive decisions.
