Northrop Grumman is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer (Hardware-in-the-Loop) at level 3 or 4 in Dulles, VA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM with embedded software experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish simulation requirements for hardware-in-the-loop platforms.
• Select interface hardware to simulate space vehicle components.
• Develop simulation models and interfaces to hardware cards (digital/analog/serial/SpaceWire).
• Define simulation testbed harnessing based on flight harness and requirements.
• Interface with hardware engineers in design, build and test of simulation platforms.
• Implement software control of simulation platform test equipment.
• Develop and execute simulation certification loop-back testing.
• Integrate components and flight software with the simulation platform.
• Use lab equipment for debug and problem resolution.
• Prepare design documentation, analysis, results and materials for customers.
