Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer (Level 3 or 4) for our Space Systems team in Dulles, VA. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and will be performed in a SCIF environment on-site.
The candidate will develop spacecraft simulations, models and GUIs, supporting multiple projects with rigorous software processes. The position offers a 9/80 schedule with alternating Fridays off and requires US citizenship.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of application.
- Experience with C/C++ and Python in aerospace or simulation domains.
- Proficient with Matlab/Simulink and scripting on Windows/Linux.
- Strong communication and teamwork, and knowledge of software processes.
Responsibilities
- Establish simulation requirements and plan full software lifecycle.
- Develop spacecraft component models from hardware docs.
- Integrate and validate space vehicle models with other disciplines.
- Develop or integrate simulation frameworks and GUIs.
- Support realtime operations and mission analysis.
- Prepare design docs and presentation materials for customers.
