Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA, seeks a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the DC/power instrumentation hardware team and serve as Technical Project Leader for complex programs. Based in North Reading, you will drive product success from concept through production release and lifecycle transitions.

You will lead a cross-functional team, balancing performance, cost, quality, and schedule, while aligning with CTD portfolio goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• BSEE required.
• 10+ years hands-on hardware design and development, board-level (PCB) focus.
• 5+ years of people management across two+ disciplines with hiring and budget ownership.
• 5+ years in product leadership for complex hardware products.
• Proven track record delivering hardware from concept to manufacturing with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated ability to engage customers and translate market needs into product requirements.
• Experience overseeing vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware program strategy from concept to manufacturing and lifecycle.
• Lead hardware engineering team and coordinate with software, FPGA, mechanical, and other groups.
• Drive major technical trade studies and decisions across disciplines.
• Define, allocate, trace, integrate, verify, and validate subsystem requirements.
• Serve as primary technical escalation point and drive timely resolutions.
• Provide hands-on leadership during prototypes, integration, verification and production-readiness.
