Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA, is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex engineering programs from concept to production. You will drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product management, marketing, sales, operations, manufacturing, and field service to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in project planning, risk management, and data-driven decision making, with limited travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–10 years of engineering-focused product development experience.
• Experience leading multiple cross-functional programs with hardware, software, mechanical, automation, operations, and field service teams.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans from concept through transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience identifying program risks and driving mitigation to closure.
• Strong planning, scheduling, budget management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Limited travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead major subsystem development from requirements to deployment.
• Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, risk registers, action items, and resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, sales, operations, manufacturing, and field service teams.
• Organize design reviews, project reviews, and executive status updates.
• Monitor and manage program costs and transfer to production manufacturing.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans and drive timely resolution.
• Synthesize complex information into concise executive updates.
• Support continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools.
