Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking experienced hardware design engineers to lead integration and operations of next‑generation storage (SSD) for our cloud systems.

You will design infrastructure to operate storage platforms at massive scale and drive automated monitoring and failure analysis across AWS environments. You will work with software teams to tailor storage solutions, apply new technologies to large deployments, and deliver high-quality, cost-efficient hardware for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
• Experience with root-cause, debug and resolution of issues on storage systems in Linux environment.
• Experience with system integration and operation of SSDs.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and operations of SSDs for AWS storage platforms at scale.
• Develop and operate software services for SSD performance and health monitoring across AWS environments.
• Collaborate with AWS software teams to tailor storage solutions and drive continuous improvement.
