Our client, a leader in industrial automation technology, is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer Level 2 to join their team. As a Hardware Development Engineer Level 2, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, a passion for continuous learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Collaborate on an agile team to design and develop new industrial automation products, including overall architecture and hardware verification.
Program, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic hardware prototypes to ensure optimal performance.
Prepare detailed product design documentation and comprehensive test reports.
Contribute to technical initiatives such as researching emerging technologies, implementing new circuit design tools, and troubleshooting failures.
Work with technical peers to implement test automation and design simulation solutions, enhancing product reliability.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in cross‑functional hardware product development.
Experience using design capture tools and the ability to read and understand schematics.
In-depth knowledge of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors, digital logic devices, analog and DC‑power conversion, and programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs).
Hands‑on experience with hardware test equipment such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
