You will create block diagrams, define electrical requirements, select components, and verify designs against specs, enabling complex aerospace and defense programs.

The role requires a ABET‑accredited EE/CE degree and 8+ years of hardware design experience, with hands-on lab skills and strong

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years hardware system design and test experience.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Effective communicator within a team.
• Ability to interpret schematics and block diagrams.
• Cable design experience.
• Hands-on lab experience with instrumentation and test equipment.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area.

Responsibilities

• System level electrical architecture and design.
• Creation of block diagrams, electrical system requirements, cable specifications, and cable drawings.
• Component selection and derating activities.
• New hardware design verification testing.
• Support system level integration activities.
