You will lead system-level design, verify hardware, and support integration across programs, requiring strong engineering judgment, communication, and hands-on testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 8+ years of hardware system design and test experience from architecture through implementation.
• Experience with technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively within a team.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams.
• Cable design experience.
• Understanding of fundamental circuits and components.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debugging methods.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL area.

Responsibilities

• System level electrical architecture and design.
• Creation of block diagrams, electrical system requirements, cable specifications, and cable drawings.
• Component selection and derating activities.
• New hardware design verification testing.
• Support system level integration activities.
