Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Receiver, Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department. The role focuses on designing mixed-signal hardware for Raytheon's radar subsystems, collaborating with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver hardware that meets program requirements.

The candidate will perform design trades, electrical analysis, create test plans, and support production during transition. Travel to MA sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with design and analysis tools (HyperLynx, LTSpice, Matlab).
• Experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition schematic capture and layout.

Responsibilities

• Define circuit and sub-system architecture, design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
• Perform integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
• Transition designs to production and provide technical support to manufacturing and test teams.
• Occasional travel to supplier, integration, and customer sites may be required.
• Lead small projects within area of responsibility.
