Job summary

RTX in the US seeks an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer to develop radar receiver and transmitter subsystems. You’ll design mixed-signal hardware, collaborate with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering, and support production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in digital/analog design, experience with HyperLynx, LTSpice, Matlab, and Mentor Xpedition, and the ability to obtain interim/secret clearance. On-site in MA with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Digital Design and RF/Analog Design.
• Production testing and troubleshooting circuits.
• Proficiency with design tools such as HyperLynx LTSpice and Matlab.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics' Xpedition schematic capture and layout.
• Ability to obtain interim/secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Circuit and sub-system architecture, design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
• Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
• Transition to production and provide technical support to manufacturing and test engineers.
• Occasional travel to supplier, integration, and customer sites may be required.
• Opportunities to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility.
• This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site & based in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA, with travel between MA sites anticipated.
