Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist with 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation to lead hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder therapy in an outpatient setting.

The role includes evaluation, custom orthosis fabrication, education, and collaboration with surgeons and therapists. A current state license and CHT credential are required; team-based, patient-centered care is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential
• Graduate of an accredited OT/PT program or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care
• Provide hand/upper-extremity rehabilitation and splinting as prescribed
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services and outcomes
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students, and support personnel
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear, care, and precautions
• Treat post-surgical and traumatic conditions; manage edema, wounds, and return-to-work rehabilitation
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, PTs, and other healthcare professionals; participate in care planning
