Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create recovery plans, and fabricate orthoses for upper-extremity conditions.

The role involves supervising OTAs and students, educating patients on orthosis care, and coordinating care with hand surgeons and other clinicians. Experience in post-surgical rehab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current state PT or OT license and CHT credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and documentation of OT services.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom orthoses and splints.
• Direct and supervise OTAs, students, and support staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other clinicians on care plans.
• Address post-surgical rehabilitation and return-to-work goals.
