Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with surgeons and therapists, and guiding post-surgical rehab, scar management, and work return strategies. Comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care for hand/upper-extremity conditions.
• Provide custom splinting and orthoses.
• Document delivery of therapy services.
• Directs and supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and staff.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and physicians for care planning.
• Provide post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work.
