Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehab for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise therapy staff as needed.

The role emphasizes orthotic fabrication, collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists, and evidence-based post-surgical rehabilitation. A bachelor’s degree is required; DPT/OT is preferred; licensure and CPR/BLS are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
