Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and lead orthotic fabrication and education for optimal outcomes.

This role requires a Doctoral degree in PT or OT preferred, a current state license, and 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab with strong documentation and teamwork. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient condition; establish care plan.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to upper-extremity conditions.
• Document Occupational Therapy/hand therapy services delivered.
• Direct and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
• Design and fit custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care and precautions.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases including scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
