Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create and implement recovery plans, and supervise OT staff and students.

Responsibilities include orthotic fabrication, wound and edema care, scar management, and collaboration with hand surgeons and other clinicians to ensure optimal outcomes for postoperative and traumatic injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom orthoses and splints.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
