Job summary

DPProfessionals seeks a Guidance Navigation Control Engineer III for an aerospace client. Onsite in Chandler, AZ, the role is a 12‑month W2 contract with a US citizen and active Secret clearance.

You will design, implement and test GN&C algorithms for diverse vehicles during powered, coast and orbital phases. Requirements include Kalman Filtering, signal processing, and proficiency in C++, MATLAB and Python, with a strong statistics background and EO imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kalman Filtering and data fusion concepts.
• Proficiency in C++, MATLAB and Python for algorithm development.
• Strong foundation in probability theory and statistics.
• Experience with Electro-Optical imaging systems.
• Willingness to travel roughly 10%.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests algorithms and software for GN&C across vehicle classes.
• Implements and verifies simulation tools for guidance and control.
• Develops equations and control laws to meet target trajectories.
• Performs analyses and supports hardware/software requirements.
