Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a GNC Engineer in Chandler, AZ to support advanced guidance, navigation, and control for aerospace systems.

You will design, simulate, and validate GNC software and high-fidelity 6-DOF models to enable flight performance analysis. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant engineering field, 2 years of experience (or a Master’s with none), and proficiency in C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and Linux, with eligibility for an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical or related engineering.
• 2 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with no professional experience.
• Experience with GNC concepts, algorithms, or analysis.
• Proficiency in C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and Linux.
• Experience with aerospace, missile, spacecraft, or autonomous systems.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a GNC Engineer to support the development of advanced guidance, navigation, and control solutions for aerospace and missile systems. This role will focus on simulation development, flight algorithm design, state estimation, seeker modeling, and performance analysis within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and validate GNC algorithms and flight software.

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 6-DOF simulations and aerodynamic modeling.
• Knowledge of State Estimation, Kalman Filters, Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), LQR, and PID control.
• Familiarity with guidance system development and control theory.
• Experience with target tracking and seeker systems.
• Knowledge of Monte Carlo analysis and performance evaluation techniques.
• Experience with Jira and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
