Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office seeks a Senior Attorney to advocate for children in dependency court. The role requires handling complex cases, developing legal strategies, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Onboarding is followed by a potential remote work option and ongoing professional development. You will review files, conduct investigations, file pleadings, and represent children in court proceedings with emphasis on timely permanency and safety.

Formación

• Licensed Florida attorney admitted to The Florida Bar.
• Two years of experience in dependency or related family law.
• Strong trial skills preferred and ability to advocate in court.

Responsabilidades

• Flexible remote work option after onboarding.
• Work under supervision of Managing Attorney.
• Represent children as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Review case files, investigate facts, and develop legal strategies.
• File pleadings and motions; attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Represent, advocate, and negotiate for children in and out of court.
