Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office in Florida is seeking a Senior Attorney to represent children in dependency court. The role involves independent case strategy, courtroom advocacy, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to secure permanency and child welfare outcomes.

The Senior Attorney provides leadership, assists others, reviews case files, and may manage complex investigations while reporting to the Managing Attorney and Circuit Director.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school and Florida Bar admission.
• Strong trial skills and ability to advocate in court.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

Responsabilités

• Represent and advocate for children in court and related proceedings.
• Develop and implement case strategies with the Guardian ad Litem team.
• Review case files, conduct investigations, file pleadings and motions.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and coordinate with staff and witnesses.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
