Blue Origin is seeking a senior structural analyst to support NewGlenn tooling and ground support equipment. You will perform strength assessments, create and validate FEM models, and provide actionable guidance on design trade‑offs.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 5–8 years in GSE or tooling analysis.
• Experience with FEM models (1D, 2D, 3D) and weldments.
• Proficiency in free‑body diagrams to compute loads and reactions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform strength assessments using classical and FEA methods for tooling and GSE.
• Document and review stress analyses to enable release of drawings.
• Mentor tooling designers on stress, stability, and fracture analyses.
• Provide technical guidance on design concepts considering risks, costs, and performance.
• Lead conceptual and detailed analyses for manufacture and assembly of structural components and systems.
• Serve as technical contact for vendor‑developed tooling projects.
