Job summary

Aflac Columbus is seeking a Senior Training Manager to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training across our sales distribution team. You will partner with distribution leaders to implement programs that improve producer conversion, retention and product knowledge, while aligning with the Aflac Way.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 8+ years of insurance and training experience, strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to work across remote and hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, Management or related field.
• Eight years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Extensive insurance industry and field force experience.
• A minimum of three years’ training/education experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates training programs for quality and effectiveness; coordinates results with other distribution leaders; delivers content recommendations; shares best practices.
• Assists with strategic plans and training programs to increase producer conversion and retention; manages timelines.
• Demonstrates strong communication and relationship-building to support distribution partners.
• Guides design and development of training materials for the sales distribution team; implements approved training programs.
• Facilitates delivery of training content for all distribution channels including broker sales and leadership development.
• Trains subject matter experts to conduct key specialized training; certifies HQ trainers.
• Researches external best practices and trends in sales methodology and professional development.
