Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, strategy, messaging, and testing. You will manage a portfolio end-to-end, lead client conversations, and drive structured testing to improve lead generation and booked appointments.

You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and collaborate with editors, copywriters, and analysts to optimize funnel performance while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience simultaneously managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other key acquisition metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine where changes are most likely to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and campaign variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and strategic judgment.
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events.
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows.
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems.
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify the source of funnel problems.
