We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Managerto drive acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion by optimizing email, in-app messaging, and user journeys. What You'll Do
Email Marketing & Lifecycle Campaigns
- Own and execute email campaigns that drive new user activation, engagement, retention, and expansion (upsell/cross-sell).
- Partner with RevOps on complex automation workflows to ensure seamless coordination across tools and systems.
- Leverage tools like Hubspot to build automated, behavior-driven email sequences to guide users through key milestones.
- A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to optimize open rates and conversions.
In-App Messaging & Nudging
- Design and implement in-app messages, nudges, and tooltips to improve activation and self-serve conversion.
- Leverage tools like Pendo, Intercom, or Appcues to create personalized, context-aware user interactions.
- Optimize messaging strategies based on user behavior and cohort analysis.
- Deeply understand product capabilities to design and orchestrate targeted in-app and email nudges/nurtures that align with user behavior and feature adoption.
Onboarding & Activation Optimization
- Collaborate with CX, Marketing and Product to refine first-user experiences and activation milestones.
- Use lifecycle marketing tactics to decrease time-to-value and improve trial-to-paid conversion.
- Identify friction points through data analysis and user research, then implement solutions.
- Collaborate with Demand Gen Marketing on integrated campaigns that require tailored in-product experiences to support acquisition, activation, or conversion goals. For example mapping capabilities used in trial to personalized nurture streams.
Customer Journey Analysis & Research
- Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and usability studies to uncover drop-off points and friction.
- Analyze user behavior with tools like Pendo, LogRocket, Mixpanel, or GA4 to inform lifecycle strategy.
- Develop hypotheses and run experiments to optimize trial-to-paid and self-serve upgrade rates.
Collaboration & Experimentation
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience to align growth strategies.
- Run A/B tests and multivariate experiments to continuously improve lifecycle conversion.
- Bring a test-and-learn mindset to everything—constantly iterating based on insights.
What You Bring
- 5+ years experience in Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing or Growth PM roles.
- Experience in PLG companies and B2B SaaS
- A data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and iteration.
- Hands-on experience with email automation (HubSpot, Marketo).
- Deep knowledge of in-app messaging, nudges, and behavioral segmentation (Pendo, Appcues).
- Strong understanding of conversion optimization, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in user analytics tools (Pendo, Rudderstack or Segment, Looker, Google Sheets) and journey mapping.
- Familiarity with SQL and Redshift.
- Proficiency in AI tools for research and data analysis ( tools like Perplexity (research), ChatGPT and Claude)
