Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience shipping web applications
• Experience applying experimentation methods to improve conversion/activation/retention
• Comfort collaborating with growth, marketing, sales, and product teams

Responsibilities

• Own the systems behind growth surfaces (landing pages, activation flows, checkout, experiment infrastructure)
• Teach experimental rigor and industry best practices for conversion, activation, and retention
• Learn fintech and climate-tech aspects of Ambrook and how real-economy producers evaluate software
• Improve experiment velocity across the company by enabling others and leading by example
• Within 1 month: ship a standalone growth surface end-to-end to instrument results
• Within 1 month: map current experiments and identify engineering bottlenecks
• Within 3 months: own a system such as a personalized landing page or AI-powered lifecycle engine
• Within 3 months: deepen product knowledge in payments and accounting
• Within 6 months: scale multiple growth systems across marketing, sales, activation, and retention
• Within 6 months: report on results and contribute to hiring decisions
