Job summary

Yahoo Sports is seeking a Senior Director of Growth & Subscriptions to own growth and engagement across the full Yahoo Sports product portfolio: Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content, and future product launches.

This senior role drives adoption, activation, retention, and in-product virality while steering the Yahoo Fantasy+ subscription business and partnerships, with a flexible hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or growth for consumer digital products.
• Proven track record in driving engagement, adoption, and retention across multiple products.
• Experience with subscription or D2C revenue, including activation and retention.
• Strong in-product growth: onboarding, engagement loops, experimentation, paywalls.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and other teams as a product peer.
• Analytical mindset with dashboards and cohort data to adapt strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own growth and engagement across Yahoo Sports portfolio including Fantasy, Fandom & Community, and Content.
• Lead in-product onboarding, adoption targets, and feedback loops for new features.
• Drive subscriber growth, onboarding, activation, and retention across surfaces.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Editorial to optimize GTM and retention.
• Provide data-driven insights to executives on engagement trends and subscription performance.
