Job summary

Yahoo Sports is looking for a Senior Director of Growth & Subscriptions to own growth and engagement across the full Yahoo Sports product portfolio: Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content, and future product launches.

This is a senior growth leadership role with two mandates: drive adoption and engagement across all Yahoo Sports products, and own and grow the subscription business (Yahoo Fantasy+ and future offerings).

Qualifications

10+ years in product management or growth, with time on consumer-facing digital products.
Track record driving engagement, adoption, and retention across product portfolios.
Experience operating a subscription or D2C business with revenue accountability.
Strong command of in-product growth: onboarding, loops, A/B testing, paywalls.
Ability to work with engineering as a peer and articulate costs.
Excellent analytical instincts: dashboards, cohort data, and course correction.
Proven cross-functional leader capable of driving outcomes beyond your direct control.

Responsibilities

Own growth and engagement for Yahoo Sports portfolio (Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content).
Drive subscriptions growth for Yahoo Fantasy+ and future offerings; optimize onboarding and activation.
Improve in-product conversion, retention, and referral virality; manage perks program.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Content on GTM and retention strategies.
Lead data-informed decision making, track performance, and ship fast with accountability.
