Job summary

Yahoo Sports is seeking a Senior Director of Growth & Subscriptions to own growth and engagement across the full Yahoo Sports product portfolio, including Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content, and future product launches. This is a senior growth leadership role with two mandates: drive adoption and engagement and own and grow the subscription business (Yahoo Fantasy+ and future offerings).

The role requires leading Growth across multiple surfaces, partnering with Marketing, Product, Engineering,

Qualifications

10+ years in product management or growth for consumer-facing digital products.
Track record driving engagement, adoption, and retention across a portfolio of products.
Experience operating a subscription or D2C business with revenue accountability across conversion, activation, and retention.
Strong command of in-product growth: onboarding flows, engagement loops, A/B experimentation, and paywall mechanics.
Enough product sense to work with engineering as a peer. You know what to ask for and what it costs.
Strong analytical instincts: dashboards, cohort data analysis, and course correction.

Responsibilities

Drive adoption, engagement, and retention across Yahoo Sports products (Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content) and future product launches.
Own and grow the Yahoo Fantasy+ subscription and future offerings.
Lead the growth playbook for new products from onboarding to feedback loops.
Improve in-product conversion, paywall placement, and onboarding experiences.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Content, and Business Development to align GTM, initiatives, and partnerships.
