Job summary

Yahoo Sports is seeking a Senior Director of Growth & Subscriptions to own growth and engagement across the full Yahoo Sports product portfolio, including Fantasy, Fandom & Community, and Content. You will lead a cross-functional team to drive adoption, activation, and retention while growing Yahoo Fantasy+ subscriptions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or growth in consumer digital products.
• Track record driving engagement, adoption, and retention across a portfolio of products.
• Experience operating a subscription or D2C business with revenue accountability.
• Strong command of in-product growth: onboarding flows, engagement loops, A/B experimentation, and paywall mechanics.
• Ability to work with engineering as a peer and understand costs.
• Strong analytical instincts: dashboards, cohort data, and data-driven pivots.
• Proven cross-functional leader able to drive outcomes across teams you don’t control.

Responsibilities

• Own growth and engagement across Yahoo Sports products (Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content) and lead growth playbooks for major product launches.
• Drive subscription growth for Yahoo Fantasy+ and future offerings through in-product conversions, onboarding, activation, and retention strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Content & Editorial, and Business Development to align GTM and retention initiatives.
• Build data-informed insights to guide prioritization, experimentation, and roadmap decisions.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to move fast, learn, and ship with accountability.
