Job summary

Cetera Financial Group Inc seeks a Senior Growth Strategy Analyst to aggregate data from diverse sources, build advanced financial models, and deliver insights that accelerate growth and efficiency for the Growth Organization.

You will design semantic views on Snowflake, develop agentic analytics with Cortex, Claude, and Copilot Studio, and automate reporting integrated with Salesforce and Tableau. A data-mesh approach and executive-ready storytelling are central to the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, CS, data analytics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics with intermediate-to-advanced SQL for aggregating and automating datasets.
Minimum 5 years of experience building financial models in Excel with advanced functions, dynamic arrays, Power Query, and scenario modeling.
Hands-on experience developing semantic views/models (Snowflake Cortex Analyst, dbt semantic layer, or equivalent) and understanding data mesh principles.
Experience building or prototyping agentic AI solutions (Snowflake Cortex Agents, Claude-based assistants, or Microsoft Copilot Studio agents) with prompt design and grounding on governed data.
Intermediate experience with Tableau and Snowflake's Streamlit for visualization.
Working knowledge of Salesforce and building custom reporting solutions.
Comfort in learning new tooling like Airtable and emerging AI platforms.
Proven ability to take a data- and insight-driven approach to large datasets and ambiguous business questions.

Responsibilities

Aggregate data from across the firm to produce analytics, insights, and data stories for senior leaders.
Design, build, and maintain Snowflake semantic views/models exposing Growth metrics to business and AI users.
Develop agentic analytics solutions in Snowflake using Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, and Cortex Agents for self-service querying.
Build Claude and Copilot Studio agents integrated with Snowflake and Salesforce for automated reporting and ad-hoc data requests.
Contribute to data mesh by defining domain data products, ownership, and governance standards for Growth.
Build advanced financial models in Excel (forecasting, scenario analysis, advisor economics, ROI) for strategic decisions.
Serve as a trusted data resource, translating business needs into data and reporting requirements.
Create dashboards and reporting (Tableau, Snowflake Streamlit) to visualize results for leaders.
Automate data collection, reporting, and distribution with Snowflake Tasks/Streams, Alteryx, and AI orchestration.
Support special projects from ideation through executive delivery.
