This 0.8 FTE/4 days per week role emphasizes actionable insights, cost controls, and timely reporting, collaborating with an owner and Australian accountants to optimize cash and inventory.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years finance and operations experience in SMEs/owner-operated businesses.
• Current multi-entity Xero expertise including a trust.
• Strong Australian tax knowledge (GST, BAS, STP, FBT).
• Proven cash flow management with weekly cadence.
• Proficient in Google Sheets for modelling.
• Inventory control experience with EOQ and S&OP rhythm.

Responsibilities

• Run the close, cash visibility, and controls across three entities and family budget.
• Manage AR/invoicing, supplier terms, and cost controls.
• Coordinate payroll, AP/AR, and periodic reporting.
• Develop and push insights to owner and team.
