Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software and business apps.
• Familiar with SQL queries and AI tools for financial analysis.
• Understanding of employment regulations and best practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Work with outside bookkeeping firm on monthly financials.
• Manage vendor relations, 1099s, and invoicing processes.
• Assist with customer invoicing, PO processing, and MSAs.
• Provide back-office support to AR and operations teams.
• Manage sales tax reporting with Avalara.
• Handle new subscription types in Chargebee.
• Process and pay vendor/contractor invoices.
• Monitor bank accounts, cards, and cashflow; record payments in Chargebee.
• Administer payroll and employee admin in Rippling.
• Oversee benefits and 401k programs.
• Forecast cash flow and assist budget planning with leadership.
• Monitor expenses and suggest reductions; negotiate vendor terms.
• Administer systems (Xero, Rippling, Carta, Chargebee, Stripe).
• Assist with corporate administration and shareholder communications.
• Develop ad-hoc analyses for management.
